Bigg Boss OTT 2 is now available to broadcast on JioCinema. On June 17, 2023, the first episode of the reality programme premiered. Salman Khan made his digital debut as a presenter for this programme and also unveiled the 13 BB OTT 2 contestants. Participants range from Palak Purswani, Avinash Sachdev, and Jiya Shankar to Cyrus Broacha and Bebika Dhurve, among others.

1. Salman Khan made a sensational debut on Bigg Boss OTT. 2. The icon danced to Hangover, a song from his film Kick. In addition, he introduced BB Currency, which will aid contestants in surviving the competition.
2. Falaq Naazz, the sister of Sheezan Khan and an actress, was introduced as the first contestant on the programme. Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan, Cyrus Broacha, Avinash Sachdev, Puneet Superstar, Manisha Rani, Bebika Dhurve, Jad Hadid, and others entered the BB OTT 2 house later.
3. Pooja Bhatt was introduced at the conclusion of the episode as the thirteenth contestant on Bigg Boss OTT 2. Initially, she was a member of the commission and janta ki aawaz.
4. Aaliya, the estranged wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, disclosed that he supported her decision to participate in BB OTT 2. He encouraged her to pursue a career and promised to take their children to Paris. When queried about her enigmatic companion, Aaliya also disclosed that she intends to wed in the near future.
5. On the very first day of the event, Puneet Superstar wreaked havoc. Big Boss reprimanded him for applying toothpaste and chemicals to his visage. Puneet even threatened to leave the programme.
6. Lebanese actor-model Jad Hadid disclosed he was reared by his neighbours and discussed his troubled childhood. Jad also stated, “When the children were at school, I cleaned the floors.”
